Always create a full backup of your website (database and files) before updating.

Review the readme.txt or the documentation changelog to see what has changed in the latest version.

If possible, test the update on a staging site first to ensure compatibility with your existing third-party plugins.

Automatic Updates

To stay up to date effortlessly, we recommend using the Envato Market plugin, which is available via the recommended plugins notification in your dashboard. After installing and activating the plugin, connect it to your account using an Envato API Token to sync your purchases. Once connected, any new theme updates will trigger a notification under Dashboard → Updates, allowing you to keep your site current by simply clicking Update Now.

Manual Update via WordPress

To update your theme manually, start by logging in to your ThemeForest account and downloading the latest "Installable WordPress file" from your downloads page. Next, navigate to Appearance → Themes in your WordPress dashboard, click Add New Theme, and then select Upload Theme. Once you upload the new .zip file, WordPress will automatically detect the existing version and prompt you to "Replace active with uploaded." Simply click this button to complete the update process and ensure your site is running the latest version.
